BioFictional blog/log/scene space for the character Eleanora Amy Benson from XMM.
Norah's blog is called "Mutant Thought Experiment" and is not actually on LJ -- it's on wordpress instead. She posts just about every day (though I do not), typically with just a link to a mutant-focused news story and a little comment on it. As the author of the blog, she identifies herself as being Amy Benson, a schoolteacher in the state of New York, and does not self-identify as being a mutant. She does, however, have a little blurb on the sidebar of the blog that starts, "If I were a mutant, my powers would be..." that she changes every week or so. One week it's overactive metabolism, another week it's flight, et cetera, et cetera. She has not ever listed invisibility as a desired ability.
Occasionally I'll write a scene with Norah and an NPC, so I'll keep them listed here:
Harriet Jones - AKA Harri - AKA Hattie - AKA Hat - Norah's college roommate for three years of school. She alone of Norah's college friends knows that she's a mutant. She graduated at the same time as Norah, though in nursing, and has picked up a job at a hospital in Albany. A petite redhead, with all the spunk normally associated with persons of that description, Hattie's the driving force of the group, organizing meet-ups and selecting activities. She's a serial monogamist, picking boyfriends for rarely more than three months at a time, at which point she grows bored of them.
Elizabeth Lampson - AKA Liz - Musical Theater major. Was a member at a campus comedy troupe at Rochester for a couple of years. Norah enjoyed helping Liz with writing her sketches, suggesting jokes and ideas. Liz has been dating Josh for two years, for as long as she and Norah have been roommates, and has been engaged for about eight months. Like most of those into theater, she's in New York City. Though she has dreams of making it big on Broadway, she's more realistically aiming at possibly teaching an improv class and having a spot on ComedySportz. Right now, she's a receptionist while she auditions and hunts for better work.
Joshua Kolhammer - AKA Josh - Liz's fiance, roommate of the three girls for their senior year of college. Accounting major. A little more serious than the others, provided ballast for the group. Was the frequent target of pranks by Norah and Hattie. He also served as an emotional confidante for all three ladies. They joked about how he was really a shared boyfriend; he didn't mind the idea. Hasn't landed a job yet following graduation, but is in New York City with Liz, searching for one.
